The APO has performed in concert for some of the biggest names in the business.
We were the orchestra Luciano Pavarotti chose during his last two Australian tours – and we were thrilled when he singled out our Principal clarinettist as being the best he has ever heard.
Dame Joan Sutherland’s legendary farewell concert in Melbourne was another magical night with the Aussie Pops; the event was recorded and sold worldwide by Warner Classics.
