Quartet meets Symphony will be an unforgettable concert that combines the fun and spontaneity of Morrison’s brilliant jazz improvisations with the gravitas and depth of Foreman’s symphony orchestra.

James Morrison is one of the world’s most brilliant jazz musicians, having performed with many of the legends of jazz, including Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck and B.B. King, to name just a few. He has recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra and rock legends INXS. He plays trumpet, trombone, piano, saxophone and double-bass.

James’s quartet teams up with the Australian Pops Orchestra, conducted by John Foreman. John is a leading musician and composer, having written music performed by artists ranging from José Carreras to Tina Arena. And the Australian Pops Orchestra (affectionately known as the Aussie Pops) is a brilliant group of musicians who have worked with artists ranging from Ray Charles to Dame Joan Sutherland.
