Australia’s favourite stars of the stage come together for the very first time to perform songs from the shows that made them famous.
As individual artists, each of these musical theatre luminaries has a storied career and an unmissable stage presence; and when they come together, these three powerhouse women present an unrivalled music theatre tour-de-force.
John Foreman brings these three brilliant artists together for a dazzling concert of Broadway hits and showbiz stories.
The show features repertoire ranging from Les Misérables to Wicked and from Chicago to Funny Girl. Leading Ladies is a concert not to be missed.
After winning Australia’s hearts on Australian Idol, Casey Donovan’s amazing career includes starring roles in many major musicals. Casey starred as Mama Cass in The Mamas & the Papas, Mama Morton in Chicago and Judy Bernly in 9 to 5 The Musical. Casey has also made numerous television appearances.
Caroline O’Connor’s stellar career includes her Olivier Award-nominated West End performance as Mabel in Mack and Mabel, Velma Kelly in Chicago on Broadway and her stunning tango in Baz Lurhman’s Academy Award winning movie, Moulin Rouge.
And Silvie Paladino’s incredible career also spans the globe, from Eponine in Les Misérables in Australia, New Zealand and on London’s West End, then the role of Fantine, also in Les Mis on the West End, to lead roles in Cats, Mamma Mia!, Miss Saigon and her popular annual appearances on Channel Nine’s Carols by Candlelight.
